The success of academic institution depends a lot on the strength of its faculty; their qualification, research and corporate experience. MES teaching staff is rich blend of research, industry and academic work experience. The faculty members apart from teaching are also involved in consultancy, research and development work. This has resulted in more than 200 papers in International and National journals. Faculty members are also promoted for workshops, seminars, conferences and higher studies which includes Ph.D. work in their respective fields. The focus is create successful technocrats who can create technologies for the global economy.
About Research Forum
The idea of the Research Forum was initiated by Dr. Daphne Pillai, Chairperson, MES Management Board
in recognition of a need to foster research practices among various departments of the Mahatma Education Society. The Forum was founded in April 2004 when Prof. Smita Dalvi was given its charge as the chairperson.
MES Research Forum conducted a two day workshop on "A Practical Approach to Research" by Dr. Karuna Gupta, (HOD, PG Department (M.Ed.), Pillai College of Education and Research) on the 24th and 25th June, 2013 at Conclave, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai Campus from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research has collaborated with the St. Mary's College of Economics and Business for the SOSERVMAN (Social Service Management) Project for the students pursuing T-GEMBA program at Saint Mary's College.
